In Spring 2024, I took MEJO 121: Intro to Digital Storytelling. This course dives into the basics of all things filmmaking and media storytelling, both in technical skills and narrative structure. For my final project, I was tasked to create a 3-5 minute microdocumentary about a story of my choosing. I chose to tell the story of my sister, Kareena, and her journey with her autoimmune disorder, how she navigates those struggles in her daily life, and how she continues to persevere and have hope.
