In Spring 2025, I took MEJO 252: Audiojournalism. This course dives into all the different methods audio stories can be used for storytelling and journalism, for radio or podcasts. Practical, technical, and narrative skills were all discussed, including interviewing techniques and how to tell a story without a visual aide. I had three feature stories, a Q&A, a News Feature, and a Narrative Feature, which I attended the nationwide 'Forward Together' March for and interviewed several protestors.

'Forward Together' Protest - April 19, 2025

In Fall 2025, I took MEJO 187: Intro to Interactive Media. This course dives into website design using Figma, HTML/CSS, and Javascript. I had two projects covering the same topic: the All-Time NBA Starting Lineup. The goal was to have two different designs, one with Figma and the other in HTML and CSS. My final project involved building a website to tell a story using data. With the constant turnover of coaches in the NFL, I thought it would be interesting to analyze the relationship between tenure and salary contracts with two Highcharts, and a Timeline.
